The Art Connection
It's a fact of life that not all artwork sells or is saleable. I do a lot of experimental work that's too good to throw away, but doesn't fit into any body of work. The Art Connection is a great organization in Boston that places artists' unsold work in nonprofit agencies that couldn't otherwise afford art. They've placed several of my pieces, and they are very business-like and professional. It would be great if we had an organization like that in Los Angeles, but until we do, I'm shipping my donations to The Art Connection in Boston!

Dear Cassandra,
You might also like to try FAAN--Fine Art Adoption Network in New York. I have received sales after my adoptions from this site.
Enjoyed your site.

I love the idea, and it looks like FAAN is a great organization, but on their website, it says that they're only open to new artists by invitation from a participating artist. They're not open to other new artists at this time.
Heather, can you extend me an invitation?!!
Oh my God . . . I just realized that I know you from Malibu. You were one year behind me in school. Heather! How are you, and what have you been doing since I last saw you about . . . oh . . . some 30 odd years ago?
