Albuquerque
I just got back from a four-day homeopathy seminar in Albuquerque. This was the view from my room, and this was the only picture I took while I was there. I didn't see much of Albuquerque because the days in class were long, and I was exhausted afterwards. It's strange to travel that far and not even see the town!

I think that's the uptown mall across the street from the hotel, but I'm not entirely sure. We got quite a bit of lightening, thunder and rain while I was there, which is unusual for this time of year.

YES, this is the new Albuquerque Uptown Mall. It's one of the most trendy places here. It's a type of mall that you might see in bigger towns where you can park underground and walk to each shop by foot. It's very new and well liked.
When you return to ABQ, you've got to visit "Old Town". During the summer, they have live music and salsa dancing every weekend. Very culturally rich. If you are here in the first two weeks of October, you've got to visit the infamous Balloon Fiesta. It's gorgeous. Check out the balloon glow. Any other time of year, you can always do the world's largest tramway to the top of the Sandia Mountains, Old Town (like I mentioned), the wineries in the North Valley along northern Rio Grande Blvd, and much of the great food we have here.

Thanks for the info! I look forward to going back. I had no idea there was so much to see and do in Albuquerque!
