It's been a busy month! I got to see so many of my friends at the opening reception for my solo exhibition at The Rose Cafe, and since then I've done several talks there to groups of artists and art collectors. It seems like I'm there at least twice a week meeting someone for lunch, and I have the menu memorized! The food at The Rose Cafe is excellent, and it's a lot of fun having a place where I can meet people for lunch and show them my work at the same time.
There's lots coming up this month, too. The one-year anniversary celebration of ARTconnectsLA is at The Rose Cafe on November 21st, a week before the close of my show. And I'm doing a two-day weekend event on December 5th and 6th, where I will show my paintings and cards.

The Art Connection
The Art Connection in Boston recently placed one of my paintings at Holy Family Hospital in Methuen, MA. Holy Family Hospital is a 271-bed, not-for-profit Catholic hospital serving some 450,000 people in 20 communities throughout the Merrimack Valley and southern New Hampshire, including Methuen, Lawrence, Andover, North Andover, Haverhill and Salem, NH. Their mission is to provide compassionate world class medical care to patients in their community. They mainly serve the disadvantaged population with varying types of illness, and they believe that beauty can help heal the body, heart, and soul.
Moon River was selected as one of the main pieces for the lobby/waiting area of the hospital. |
