Cats
Rain makes strange bedfellows.
This is an extremely rare sight -- all three of my boys together -- Nelson, Enzo and Alex. They were all huddled under the Norfolk Island Pine tree because it had started to rain. Otherwise they would never all be within 20' of each other, except for Alex, who adores Nelson.Labels: cats
Yet Another Crime Scene
What might this be?

A pile of men's suits appeared in my backyard, evidently thrown over the back wall from the alley. They look like they're in good shape. Should I 1) call the police, assuming that they have something to do with some sort of crime, 2) throw them away, 3) give them away, or 4) throw them back over the wall into the alley?Update 1/24/07: I put the suits in the alley, and within a day they were gone!Labels: mystery
Landscape Studies
My small studies always turn out great, when I'm not really trying. These two are each about 12" x 12". Trying to translate the same idea to a larger piece is not so easy!Click on images to enlarge.

Nelson and Alex
I came home from hiking this morning, and was stunned to see Nelson and Alex sleeping together in the yard. This was the best picture I could get, because I didn't want to go outside and disturb them.
This is a huge leap forward for both of them. Alex is a feral cat who doesn't trust anyone, and Nelson was afraid of him. It's so sweet to see the two of them together. I've never had cats before who liked other cats.Labels: cats
