  1. These last few, especially this one, are just stunning! I’d love to hear more about how you get such amazing effects!

    1. This painting uses Golden Crackle Paste. I applied a layer of crackle paste and let it dry, which produces the characteristic cracks. Then I did an underpainting of turquoise blue, to keep any white from showing through. Once the underpainting was dry, I poured all of the colors onto the canvas, and pulled them across the canvas with a squeegee. That gives the horizontal landscape effect.
