Thank you for your ideas and kind comments! It’s interesting that many people see waves, water and the ocean in this painting, and I’m going to go with “The Great Wave” for the title. For now, anyway. Sometimes I change titles later!
Hi Linda, I use the 4 mil rolls of plastic from Home Depot, but I think any plastic would work as well. The paint is leftover house paint, and the support is regular stretched primed cotton canvas. You can see the process in this video:
