I did some painting in my new studio today, and I have to say, it is FABULOUS having so much space! I’m working on some small 10″ x 10″ paintings, and I had plenty of room to lay out three different colorways without tripping over anything every time I moved. Wow! Every artist should have a studio like this. I didn’t realize how much easier it would be to work in a larger space.
Here are a couple of teasers for the new paintings. These are the leftover paint on the plastic, and you can see the colors that I used. When the paint is dry, I peel it off, and then I can reuse the plastic. I haven’t figured out what to do with the sheets of dry paint yet, but they’re interesting looking.
And here are the paintings drying on my newly refurbished drying rack. They usually take several days to dry.
