It still feels like summer here, but it’s already the end of October, and we’re heading into The Holidays. I’m doing two holiday shows this year, and I thought I’d give you a preview of what I’ll be showing. If you’re not in the Ventura area, I’ll put some of this work on my website, so it will be available to you, as well.
I have an exciting new series of necklaces that feature miniature abstract paintings created using leftover house paint. The paintings are showcased in small hardwood frames, and hang on braided black cords. Each piece is a unique work of art.
I’m also working on some beautiful 24″ x 8″ paintings. This is a great affordable size, both for yourself and for gifts.
I’ve been playing around with collage, and I’ll have some of my 12″ x 12″ pieces on cradled hardwood panel available.
And of course my handwoven scarves and leaf print silk scarves. The woven scarves are made using high-end luxury yarns, including silk, bamboo, alpaca and Pima cotton. And the leaf scarves are printed on shiny silk charmeuse and matte crepe de chine.
