New Handwoven Scarves

Hi Friends,

Where has the year gone? It’s hard to believe that it’s already October and we’re heading into the holidays. For me that means making holiday gifts.

I’ve been working on some new handwoven scarves that are fun, and I thought I’d show you a few that are finished. They’re made using high-end luxury yarns — mostly silk and cotton with some merino wool and novelty yarns.

I also have a pretty purple and mauve piece on the loom that will be done soon.

These warm, soft and cozy scarves add a touch of elegance and vibrant color to your winter wardrobe.

I enoy working with all of the different colors and textures on the scarves. It’s a delight to have so many different yarns to choose from when designing a new piece.

My handwoven scarves are available on my website, and I also have a selection of them at Bird Dog Arts in Tejon Ranch. Bird Dog Arts is part of the Tejon Ranch Outlet stores, which is fun if you haven’t been there. It’s only about a 1-1/2 hour drive from either Los Angeles or Ventura.

What are you doing for fun this fall? I’d enjoy hearing your thoughts. You can share them with us in the comments section below.

With love and appreciation,
