It’s spider season!
Hello Friends,
I’m getting ready for a show at the Ebell in Los Angeles in December. I’ve been asked to show my handwoven scarves and table runners, so I’ve been doing a lot of weaving lately to build up an inventory for the show.
The table runners are turning out really well. These are woven using torn strips of batik fabrics, so they’re reversible. The fabric is dyed rather than printed, and the design is on both sides. The colors are rich and luscious.
Here are three new ones that I just put up on my website, in case you want to do some early holiday shopping.
Click on the images to see them in a browser and for more information.
You can see all of my handwoven table runners by clicking here.
And if you feel like you could use some healing energy, I have a new video for you. Yes, I know I “can’t sing.” I’ve heard that more than once. But I sing anyway as a way to reclaim that lost part of myself and to express things I couldn’t convey otherwise.
What parts of yourself have you lost and would like to reclaim? I’d enjoy hearing your thoughts. You can share them with us in the comments section below.
Thank you, as always, for being here with me through this journey that we call life.
With love and appreciation,
Cassandra
