Seed pods on the Japanese Pagoda tree in the rain.
Hi Friends,
I’ve spent the past couple of weeks getting ready for two holiday arts and crafts shows, the first of which was last Sunday at the local Unitarian Universalist Church. I do this show every year, and we always have a good turnout. Thank you to everyone who stopped by to see my work!
This year we had unprecedented torrential rain, and we were lucky that folks still showed up.
Here are a few pictures of my corner of the show with my handwoven scarves and table runners, leaf print silk scarves, collages and handmade cards.

You can see an available selection of these creations on my website by clicking on the links below:

My next show is on Wednesday, December 10th at The Ebell of Los Angeles. This is an Artisan Boutique that is open to the public, and you can also have lunch at The Ebell that day, by reservation only.
This is my first time doing this show, and I’ve heard that it’s magnificent. From their Wikipedia page:
The Ebell of Los Angeles is a women-led and women-centered nonprofit housed in a historic campus in the Mid-Wilshire section of Los Angeles, California. It includes numerous performance spaces, meeting rooms, classrooms, and the 1,238-seat Wilshire Ebell Theatre. The Ebell works to uplift the Los Angeles community through arts, learning, and service.
The campus has been owned and operated since 1927 by the Ebell of Los Angeles women’s organization, which was formed in Los Angeles in 1894.
I’ll be showing my handwoven scarves and table runners, and I look forward to seeing you there.
What are your holiday plans this year? I’d enjoy hearing your thoughts. You can share them with us in the comments section below.
With love and appreciation,
Cassandra
